Reducing Offending: Youth Justice Services and Residential Child Care Strategies

Are you involved in residential child care and would be interested to know more about youth crime and risk factors in residential settings?  Are you a youth justice practitioner and would be interested in finding out more about the relationship between youth justice and residential child care?

We are staging a one-day practice seminar on Wednesday 29 February in Edinburgh that will consider this relationship and ways of avoiding youth criminalisation. The seminar will also consider techniques for supporting both staff and young people with challenging behaviour. Find out more by visiting the website of CELCIS, the Centre for Excellence for Looked after Children in Scotland and our partners in delivering the seminar.
