National Youth Justice Advisory Group

The National Youth Justice Advisory Group (NYJAG) provides policy and strategic direction to support youth justice practice. Members are involved in and contribute to various strands of policy development in relation to children and young people who offend.
The Group is committed to practice and skills development and works closely with the Criminal Justice Social Work Development Centre and Scottish Government in the provision of 'Practitioner Networks' and a National Youth Justice Practitioner Conference. The events are delivered in partnership with the National Development Team and form part of a comprehensive programme of activities that aim to support youth justice practice development. The NYJAG is open to representation from all 32 Local Authorities, SCRA, ACPOS, Community Justice Authorities and representatives from the Third Sector.
