The Centre is an independent national resource providing a range of services to those working in, or concerned about, criminal and youth justice social work services.  We work in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector service providers, and with central government, to identify, promote, develop and disseminate good practice and management - all based on the best available evidence.

Our website aims to provide up-to-date professional knowledge and advice; information about relevant news and events; and a range of useful resources which should be of interest to social workers and others working in the criminal justice system such as the police, voluntary sector, prosecutors, lawyers, sentencers and those working in cusutodial settings.
