Cara Jardine

Cara joined the Centre in August 2008.  Prior to this she was employed as a legal assistant at the Scottish Law Commission, where she worked on the Sexual Offences Bill and the Crown Rights of Appeal projects.  Cara graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an LLB in Law and then went on to study the MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2006.
 
As a student Cara undertook research on trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation, the impact of complainer intoxication on juror decision making and attrition in rape cases.  She is currently working on the evaluation of the 'Routes out of Prison' project.
