Sex Offenders in Scotland

The aims of this group are currently under review.  The group has a number of tasks in hand at present, including the creation of an induction programme to provide basic training on working with sex offenders and research into working with sex offenders with learning difficulties or mental health issues. 
 

Members of the group have developed the national sex offenders programme, CSOGP, for use in a Scottish context, and this is currently being piloted.  The group are assisting the Centre in an evaluation of CSOGP.  The group is also seeking to develop PQ training in both the CSOGP and the induction programme.

Sex Offenders on Short-Term Orders

The Group has also produced a format for working with sex offenders on short-term orders.  Designed to be delivered on a 2:1 basis, the work focuses primarily on Relapse Prevention.  Click on the link above for more information.
